American men aren't issued the same wishlist at birth, but dating culture comes with some specific expectations when you’re in the land of the free. Women might be complicated, but American men certainly aren’t; if you’ve ever dated a guy from the States, these 20 requests might sound all too familiar.
1. His Football Sundays Left Alone
Sunday afternoon from September through January is already booked, and it was long before the relationship started. Oh, sure, he’ll spend Saturday at a farmers market with you, but asking him to go furniture-shopping during the Packers game—that’ll test his devotion.

Driving six hours for a weekend away doesn't always register as excessive when you've grown up in a country this large.
