Admit it—you've probably done some pretty embarrassing things before just to catch your crush's eye. From laughing too hard at their jokes to changing your fashion style, there's nothing you wouldn't do if it meant impressing the potential love of your life. 1. "Accidentally" Bump into Them
What's the easiest way to get your crush's attention? Bump into them, obviously. But since you have to keep it subtle, you need to do it like it's an accident—which means channeling your acting skills. You're pretty sure your crush can see right through your act every time, but that's not going to stop you from doing it again.
2. Laughed Too Hard at Their Jokes
It doesn't even matter what your crush says. If they say something remotely funny or try to crack a joke, you're doubling over in laughter right afterwards. Sure, maybe no one else is laughing, but that just means your crush will only see you laughing.

Your crush likes football? Okay, you too. In fact, you're going to memorize all the rules and teams and players, just so you can go up to them the next day and say, "Hey, did you see that awesome touchdown last night?" Even if the sport bores you to death, you're going to continue keeping up the act for your crush.
4. Changed Our Style
Your crush likes piercings? Okay, you're making a piercing appointment. They said their ideal type is someone who has—in your opinion—a diabolical fashion sense? Like crocs and neon pants? That's okay; you'll switch up your style just to impress them.
5. Walked in a "Cool" Way
It's not enough to just accidentally bump into your crush; you have to get their attention in other ways, too. So, what do you do? Walk in a "cool" way in front of them, of course. Maybe add a little swagger or sashay a little bit, or try to moonwalk. You know, just enough to catch their eye.
6. Changed the Way We Talk
Honestly, sometimes, we might do this without realizing. We might pitch our voices a little lower or higher to impress our crush, or we may try to mimic the way they talk. In fact, this phenomenon is even backed up by science: women tend to speak in a higher tone in front of someone they're attracted to, while men tend to speak in a lower register.

Putting your jacket on your crush's seat does two things: it tells others to back off, and it also subtly shows your interest in them. Whether or not your crush actually interprets (or notices) the action as such is another thing altogether, but that's not stopping you from trying to make a statement.

Your crush likes people who take risks? Okay, you can work with that. Sure, maybe the craziest thing you've ever done was get stuck in a tree for three hours after saving the neighbor's cat—but you're going to make yourself heroic and say that you not only saved the cat's whole family, but you also backflipped off the tree easy-peasy.

Who doesn't stalk their crush's social media? What's probably the most embarrassing thing about this is that, most of the time, you don't actually want your crush to find out you've been peeping at their old Instagram posts from four years ago. But then you accidentally "liked" one of their posts, and now you have to act like it was completely intentional.

You're not just off to the side laughing at your crush's jokes—you're in the spotlight trying to be a stand-up comedian, too. Sure, sometimes your material isn't great, but every time you get your crush to laugh, that's a win.

Even if you don't necessarily have social anxiety, it can be extremely nerve-racking to talk to your crush, especially for the first time. Your secret? Rehearse a script in your head and in front of the mirror before you actually talk to them. Ever pretended you were warm just so you could offer your hoodie to your crush? Or ever pretended you felt chilly to see if your crush would give you their jacket? Either way, you've probably used this method to not only get your crush's attention, but to also wear their clothes.
17. Hung Around Their Favorite Hangout Spot
Your crush likes hanging around the library in the evenings? Okay, looks like you're also going to the library every evening from now on. In fact, you might even volunteer there, read all their favorite books, and try to subtly bump into them every chance you get.
