Living The Dream
Whether you like to be pampered or not, everyone has luxuries they wish to indulge in. We often dream about how our daily lives could improve or what it would be like to afford everything we desire. From material possessions to quality time, these are the luxuries many people long for:
1. Sleeping In
Don’t you hate it when your alarm rudely interrupts your beauty sleep? Even if your alarm is your favorite rock tune, you don’t want to hear it at 6 am. Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up naturally, whenever your body decides it’s had enough rest? Sleeping in is something we desire that we often overlook.
2. Dining Out
We’d all eat out more if we could afford to. We’d order our favorite dishes without glimpsing at the prices. Dessert wouldn’t even be a question–– of course, we’ll have it! The water would be sparkling, our cocktails would be made from scratch, and the white cloth table would be candle-lit.
3. Quality Time With Your Kids
A huge luxury for most parents is to have quality time with their kiddos. They grow up so fast and you want to spend as much time as you can with them.
4. Dream Home
Everyone’s dream home looks different but it’s a luxury to have nonetheless. Maybe your mansion has floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly frame your lake view, or maybe your urban cabin in the city has a vegetable garden. If only you could blueprint your architectural dreams.
5. Spa Treatments
Ahh daily or weekly spa treatments would be the destressers everyone needs. Imagine you could get an hour massage every time your muscles ached? You’d have glowing skin, silky hair, and manicured nails. You could start your day with a cold plunge if that’s what you’re into or you could relax in the steamy sauna in the evening.
6. Time For Hobbies
Many of us wish we had more time for leisure activities in our schedules. Some people want to be on a sports team or take a pottery class. It’s a luxury to have the time to participate in your hobbies and feels good when you get to.

7. Giant Walk-In Closet
Whether you’re a fashionista or not, an organized room for your clothes, shoes, and accessories is a desirable space. It would have enough shelves to store everything and you could hang all your clothes for ease of access. Not to be vain, but a full-length mirror would be a nice touch.
8. High End Appliances
You vacuumed it three times but the rug still looks like it’s made of dog fur. That vacuum that costs as much as your car would make life great and clean. An espresso machine, a speedy dishwasher, and an outdoor pizza oven wouldn’t go amis either.
9. Jacuzzi Tub
You might not think you want a jacuzzi until you’ve soaked in one. Unless you like parts of your limbs hanging out, a large bath that you can completely submerge in is glorious. Some bathers enjoy the bubble jets or cup holders for their bath bevies.
10. Comfy Furniture
A dream house isn’t complete without handcrafted furniture. Comfortable furniture is a highly sought-after commodity that adds to our quality of life. When you can crawl into your king-sized bed or curl up on the sectional sofa, you’re in home bliss.
11. Top Cosmetics
With thousands of skincare products on the market, it’s no surprise people like to pamper their epidermis. Good quality cosmetics are harder to come by and will cost you a pretty penny. To maintain a youthful glow is a luxurious hygiene regime.
12. Accessible Healthcare
Unfortunately, healthcare isn’t easily accessible to everyone. Private healthcare is a dream for many, especially those with regular health issues. We could all be healthier and mend quicker if we could see a doctor the second we needed one
13. Personal Shopper
Even if you like to shop for yourself, you don’t always have the time. Imagine somebody else could pick up your grocery list. A professional stylist could help you buy the clothes perfect for your body and the cupboards would always be stocked.
14. Unlimited Vacation
Most people in today's society work too much and are given minimal time off. We sit at our office desk daydreaming, wishing that our coffee mug was a margarita and our desk chair was a lounger. Jobs that allow for unlimited holidays are what many of us long for.
15. A Pool
If you live in a hot climate or you live for the summer, a pool is a piece of heaven. Plunging into the refreshing water of a pool you have all to yourself is a beautiful thing. If you have kids, they’ll likely agree to this dream. Upscale your dream even more with an infinity pool.

16. Private Jet
If environment and money weren’t a factor, we’d all have private jets by now. It would be an easy journey to visit our overseas friends and family. Travel enthusiasts could hit a lot of destinations off their bucket lists.
17. Date Nights
Quality time with your partner is considered a luxury in a life full of busy schedules. If you’re a parent with young children, date nights are even more desirable. On top of that, many couples wish for exuberant date ideas like hot air balloon rides and dinners at Michelin-star restaurants.
18. Private Bathroom
If you share a bathroom with your kids, spouse, or roommates, you understand there’s great pleasure in having a bathroom all to yourself. Nobody touches your toiletries, the shower is always free, and you can enjoy some privacy when you’re on the toilet.
19. Fresh Food
Depending on where you live, the season, and your financial situation, fresh fruits and vegetables aren’t always available. You’re living the high life if you have a platter of tropical fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.
20. Storage Space
Space is a splendor that many of us wish we had more of. There’s a reality TV show about storage units so you know people want it. Some folks dream about stuff like sports cars, while others dream of the garage they can park them in.
