While we may look up to celebrities for certain accomplishments or achievements they've made, one thing that's been made apparent in Hollywood that we don't agree with is their baby name choices. Choosing the most outrageous words as names, some of the celebs on this list have created the weirdest names we've ever heard. Looks like their children are going to have a difficult time explaining themselves when they grow up! 

1. North West

Kicking off our list is the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Named North West, the internet was abuzz when the news first kicked in that this famous power couple would be naming their child after directions.

2. Apple Martin

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin raised eyebrows everywhere when they named their daughter, Apple. Yup, while it's a common fruit, it's definitely an unconventional choice for a name.

3. Blue Ivy Carter

The daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z definitely has a name that'll stand out among a crowd. Blue Ivy is a name that's definitely as colourful as it is unique.

Jason Lee's son, Pilot Inspektor, has a name that's not just uncommon—it's downright unusual. The inspiration reportedly came from a song, showcasing how some celebrities turn to their artistic influences when naming their children.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z make another appearance on this list with their twins, Rumi and Sir. Rumi is a poetic and cultural reference, while Sir is a title of respect. While we can respect the intention and meaning behind the names, we're not sure if they work great as actual, well, names.

Nicholas Cage, inspired by his love for comic books, named his son Kal-El after Superman's birth name. It's definitely a name that's pretty "out-there".
